Add a Comment Now - We Want to Hear From You
The bloggers at Network Performance Daily and the team at NetQoS would like to wish you and your family a Happy Holiday.
May you have a joyous and safe holiday,
May you get everything on your wish list (including the Wii),
May you keep the spirit of the holiday in you all year round,
And most importantly, may this be the one vacation this year
where you don’t get paged in the middle of the night to fix something.
For those of you who read the blog from Austin, enjoy this handy Google Mashup Map of Austin Holiday lights. For the rest of you: Don’t forget to enter our Get Your Network in Shape for 2008 resolutions contest for a chance to win a Wii, a Tom Tom navigation system or an iPod Nano 8GB.

Need some ideas to get the ball rolling? Well, here are a few New Year’s resolutions for network performance stimulated by NetQoS surveys and some of Network Performance Daily’s most popular 2007 posts:
• Takes steps to ensure network performance won’t be hit by recreational use of the network by turning on NetFlow monitoring.
• Brush up on vendor-agnostic network performance management skills by completing network training and achieving NetAnalyst certification.
• Stop paying through the nose on maintenance fees on incumbent IT management products.
• Stop fighting fires by moving from a fault-based management approach to a performance-centric approach to network management.
Now, it’s your turn. Submit your 2008 New Year’s resolution before December 31, 2007. Don’t wait.
Also, we have shut down our experiment "The Pipe @ NetworkPerformanceDaily." Thanks to everyone who checked it out!
