By Ben Erwin, Product Manager for NetQoS Performance Center 3.0
& Steve Harriman, Vice President of Marketing at NetQoS:
We've recently held a Webinar to discuss NetQoS Performance Center 3.0. We had a Q&A session there. We couldn't get to all of the questions asked at the Webinar, so we've done our best to answer those questions here in this blog.
We also have a copy of the earlier Q&A posted, as well as a link to the entire Webinar.

Which 3rd party apps have been tested for integration into this product?
Coradiant TrueSight, OPNET IT Guru, Auditec NewTest, BMC, CA-Spectrum, Network Instruments
Is ReporterAnalyzer now integrated with LDAP also?
Not today but that is part of the 2007 roadmap for ReporterAnalyzer.
Are all these products contained on the same server?
No, each product (SuperAgent, ReporterAnalyzer, and NetVoyant) requires a different server or groups of servers. The NetQoS Performance Center can be installed on top of any of the aforementioned products.
Do you have a list of devices/vendors you support?
Primarily Cisco but other vendors can also be supported such as Nortel, Juniper, HP, and F5.
What version of SNMP is used for the polling?
SNMP v2. We're not SNMP v3 capable but that is part of the product roadmap for all the products.
Can you also schedule Analysis via the NPC and place it on one of the MyPages?
Not today, ReporterAnalyzer Analyses can only be run within ReporterAnalyzer.
Does NetQoS have adapters for OPNET IT/SP Guru?
Yes, these adapters can be requested from OPNET.
Fluke Networks has showed us some of their products. How is the integration of the Fluke Networks product done?
Fluke Networks is actually an OEM re-seller of the NetQoS product line so no integration is necessary between vendors.
What are the prices for your products?
Pricing is based primarily on the size of your network and the number of applications being monitored. Starting prices average around $30k per product and scale up based on network size.
We tested out Super Agent over 12 months ago - would it be worthwhile to take a 2nd look or is it pretty much the same?
The SuperAgent UI has improved dramatically over the past 12 months with better workflows and operational-focused views into end-to-end performance data - it would certainly be worthwhile to take another look.
Can two instances aggregate their data to each other?
Yes, all of the data is aggregated across multiple products and systems within the NetQoS Performance Center.
