More below the fold...

Washington Post: Microsoft worked with NSA to help with Vista Security
For the first time, the giant software maker is acknowledging the help of the secretive agency, better known for eavesdropping on foreign officials and, more recently, U.S. citizens as part of the Bush administration's effort to combat terrorism. The agency said it has helped in the development of the security of Microsoft's new operating system -- the brains of a computer -- to protect it from worms, Trojan horses and other insidious computer attackers.

They also helped with Microsoft Secret-Flight-To-Undisclosed-Location Simulator X. More seriously - crypto experts have been concerned about NSA access to MS Operating systems since 1999.

Wine HQ: Wine 0.9.29
What's new in this release:
- More work on the new Direct3D state management.
- Debugger support for Mac OS.
- Many OLE fixes and improvements.
- Audio input support on Mac OS.
- Lots of bug fixes.

- Now runs Notepad.exe and only Notepad.exe 5% faster!

Why is the site redirecting through nsa.gov?
